Recently, Joseph Tegbe, Director-General of the Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership (NCSP), led a delegation to visit Beijing SYS Technology Co., Ltd. during his trip to China, conducting in-depth exchanges on water environment governance technology cooperation. Chairman Jing Ge, Director of International Affairs Linxi Ge, and the management team of SYS accompanied and hosted the delegation throughout the visit.

Accompanied by Linxi Ge, the delegation first visited the operational site of the Zhaoquanying Town Reclaimed Water Plant in Shunyi District to observe the practical applications of SYS’s core technologies, including rapid bio-treatment and spore transfer. They then toured SYS’s headquarters base to examine construction plans for low-carbon and energy-saving buildings and details of energy-saving and environmental protection technology applications.

During the discussion,Mr Tegbe learned in detail about SYS’s core businesses, technologies, international development strategy, and global project implementation cases. Both sides focused on discussing the feasibility of implementing SYS’s technologies in Nigeria—converting wastewater into reusable resources and clean energy, which would not only address local water resource recycling issues but also support Nigeria’s energy diversification strategy, aligning closely with its goals of environmental sustainability and a circular economy.

Chairman Jing Ge stated that at last year’s Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, SYS, as a representative enterprise in the environmental protection sector, participated in the first China-Nigeria precise economic and trade cooperation negotiation, laying a foundation of trust for bilateral cooperation. Mr. Tegbe’s visit marks a key step in green technology cooperation between the two sides, infusing new momentum into the China-Nigeria sustainable development partnership. In the future, SYS will accelerate alignment with Nigeria’s needs, promote the implementation of technologies, and assist Nigeria in achieving coordinated environmental and energy development.
